Electronic cigarettes!? I must have been watching something else when this hit the news. For those people who are concerned about second hand smoke abut still need a hit of nicotine throughout the day, we now have electronic cigarettes. Rather than have tobacco with an uncertain level of nicotine and a filter tip to remove most of the tar, electronic cigarettes deliver a carefully calculated and measured dose of nicotine in a nebulizer type of system that uses a rechargeable battery and a computer chip.
Of course, unless a "smoker" inhales all the doped up steam and exhales no air or steam containing nicotine, there could still be second hand effects. I do like the idea that there are more than a dozen flavors so that a "smoker" who insists he's allowed to smoke inside could at least change the smell from time to time.

My question: If there is no smoke involved, can it really be called smoking and would any of the current non-smoking laws apply?
What an informative, and I'm sure unbiased comment.
