During a routine clean out of part of our garage, we came up with several items of electronic waste. So off we went to the local junkyard since we didnn't want to just throw it in our trash can or recycle bin.  Sacramento has a very well organized junkyard only about 5 miles from us. Our visit there convinced me that electronic waste isn't handled any DIFFERENTLY from regular recycled stuff, just SEPARATELY.
