Family camp pictures

We're having a Baldwin Family camp this summer. That's sort of a combination family reunion and camp out. Since Carolyn has five brothers, three of which have 8 children or more, you can imagine that this thing could be as large as the ward reunion was last week. Carolyn and siblings will be 12. The next generation down is approximately 70. And the next generation is also about 70 with the next generation about 5 so far. I don't know how many will actually make it but since it will probably be 10 years or more before another one is planned, it would be great to have close to perfect attendance.

One of the activities has to do with identifying family members and ancestors. We apparently did such a good job with our kids' and grandkids' pictures that we were asked to do the ancestors as well.


Here's what we came up with. With the ancestors we tried to do two or even three pictures so we don't think of them just as 'old people". To get ready for camp, you might print out two copies of this and play Memory (the matching game) a few times. Or you could make a family group sheet or pedigree chart with pictures. (Non-family readers of this blog can just enjoy looking at our family. We're obviously blesst and we know it.)

I found that by printing landscape, 70% reduction, and no bottom margin I could print it all on one page.

    I didn't even know that 4th generation had any yet though I'm not surprised.

    A little help on the ancesstors might be nice. Here is my best guess on the ansestors.

    Top row: JSB, JSB, GGM, JSB, GGP, GGP
    Middle Row: GGM, PAB, PAB, GGM, GS, GGM
    Bottom: PAB, GGP, Perry Baldwin's dad.

    Key: JSB= Jessie Shumway Baldwin, PAB = Perry Alvin Baldwin, GGM=great gandma (unknown), GGP = great grandma, GS=Grandma Shumway (the one that outlived PAB).

    I'll be happy if I can recognize Mom's siblings, Ray's kids, and at least half of Norman's. This should be wild :)
