When we got home from church this past Sunday there was a message on our answering machine saying they had drawn Carolyn's name at the local Home Town Buffet and she had a week to claim a free meal. Being the generous sort of person she is, she immediately called our kids and set up an evening when we could all meet at the Buffet, enjoy a meal together (hers being free, and she paying for the rest of us), and talk aboaut the first day of school for Tim and Jake. (It sure seems that school starts earlier every yeaer!) Anyway, a nice evening was had by all.
The school report from the boys was brief but positive.
